12. I just did “Up and Down”, and boy am I WORKED OUT! I just wanted to give some of my first impressions.

First of all, JAC is a natural!! She just glows, and she looks wonderful!! I wish I had those lean cut arms. The whole workout blends together very well, the editing is pristine and smooth, there aren’t too many equipment changes, and everything just flows.

Abs – “Up and Down” has the toughest abs yet compared to WF (Weights First with Tracie Long) and CF (Core First with Carissa Foster) IMO. There was some tough ab work there! The planks were killer.

Although Anna still used non-dominant training, “Up and Down” was different...iIt was still very tough, but the sides were more integrated making the time go by even faster. Speaking of, this workout, time really did go by very fast I was having so much fun.

The cardio was slightly more choreographed than WF and CF, and it was very fun. Lots of leg abductions and there were even some power scissors (sort of) with the ball, of course!

Upper body – wow!!! My arms are shaking as I type. The planks, two sets of all the upper body work (biceps, “headbangers”, upright row, militaries, clean and press, tricep dips, lat row), the push-ups with the ball and the box and my arms are fried!

The music IS great. One song even reminds me of the Top Gun soundtrack. Very upbeat songs.

Leg press – how could I forget about this?! I absolutely love the variation o the leg press from CF, but let me tell you – the creativity never ends!!! In U&D, you do a “samba” leg press on the tall box for the first set, followed by some squat abductions and then back to the regular leg press. I could do leg press all day if you call it a “samba”. –Workout Partner FirmHeels
