When
you:
1) have clear goals,
2) commit to the workout,
3) experience total concentration
with a loss of self-consciousness & daily
worries,
4) are challenged by a complex
workout, slightly more difficult than you can
easily do,
5) lose awareness of time and
are totally immersed in the movement and music,
6) immediately feel better
from exercise endorphins,
7) experience a sense of growth,
of being part of some greater entity; this is
called 'FLOW'.
As defined by author Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi,
this is how human beings achieve happiness.
This experience is the goal of all Fitness Favorites
