How do you measure for a high step for someone 5'2"? If everyone has different leg lenghts, if they say get you fanny lifter and it's both pieces, suppose that is too high for you?
I have a high step and was wondering how many risers I would use for my height. It's a good thing these things are adjustable cause you'd break your neck trying to step 4 rishers high. At least I would.
I hope my question makes sense to someone .

I think your knee should be at a 90-degree angle. I am not sure how many risers, as I am 5' 8".

Yes, your leg should be at 90 degrees. I'm 5'3" and hit 90 degrees at 14", or 5 risers at 2" each and the platform at 4".

5!!!! Good God that's high. Then that's all of them plus some. That just seems to high for me. I only have 4. Let me go check this out. That is way to high for me. I'd never finish the exercise.
AHHHHGH. I did measure it. with four it's less then 14" so dang, no way am I buying more risers. I'll work with it with 3. Heck the booklet even said I don't need to purchase any equipment.
*Plus!... you don't have to buy any equipment! These workouts use inexpensive basics you probably already own"
Well, who already owns a dowel who has not been exercising? ????? Who already has a high step/stool if they don't exercise??? I sure didn't. LOL. Oh well. I can do it, I will do it and just make it work for me!!! as one instructor always says. :)

I think using the number of risers you are comfortable with is just fine. The most I use is 5 + the topper and this is now only after building up my strength for a while.
My dowel is just a broom stick.
It works very well to just adapt the things you already own for these workouts. :D

I like the fact these are not as they say, *equipment heavy* that gets to be so tedious and not fun.
I thought I was going to start on Sunday but I better wait till Monday. I have to do something on Sunday. A full day of no work and nothing else would drive me nuts if I don't exercise. So... I'll do yoga so as not to over train, the first day. If I was off tomorrow though, I'd be doing them.
Someone on here or something I read said they use their Swiffer as their dowl. LOL.
