I love the new FitPrime and Kick Butt! workouts. I have the Metaboot/FlexPosture and Steamin Cardio/Push Pull DVDs. Gotta wait for the tax refund check to buy the full set. One thing :) I miss in the new workouts is the leg work with ankle weights. The resistence helps with intensity and my form.
How can I safely incorporate the ankle weights back into the workouts without loosing the cardio kick of the workouts. I am just looking for general guidelines.
Thanks!!!!

Do you mean using the ankle weights with floor work like in Floor Burn? Or all the way through? My ankle wieghts have the option of how much weight I want in them -- they have slots that I can had half-pound weights into, so I can make them anywhere from half a pound to 5. I have found that using the weights during floor work is great, but if I use them during cardio work, they tax my joints. I think that's just because I'm getting older. :p Can you do that with yours? Adjust the weights so you could try them with cardio and find a weight that helps with strength but doesn't hinder cardio moves? Sometimes using ankle weights with certain cardio combinations can be more trouble than they are worth, espeically if you are clumsy like me. :p

I meant using the anlkle weights for floor work or standing leg work. My joints aren't up to weights in cardio and neither is my back. Chiropracters love me because of the responding pops they get when they work with my back. In the ancient days of the classic series the ankle weights would go on for a time and then come off. If cardio was used in between leg sets the cardio was joint sensitive.
Again just looking for gereral parameters.
