View Full Version : Help working out with bone spurs?

Recently developed some painful bone spurs in my elbow. Went from pretty serious working out to being stuck. Can't really put any weight on it (not even enough to do a pushup).

Any ideas of ways to still workout without putting too much push pressure on the elbow? So far I'm down to swimming.

The biggest problem is tricep work. It doesn't seem to be quite so bad on pull exercises, but push exercises are blindingly painful. Surgery isn't an option for about another three months.

Hi I wish I could answer your question, but did your doctor or health praticioner suggest any type of therapy? Perhaps bands instead of weights. Again, ask doctor if these exercises with a band will be beneficial. Sorry can't be of more assistance.
