Any more original workouts on DVD this year?

I saw a rumor on the Yaya's board that someone saw on some other board (ain't that the way rumors always start :D ) that there are allegedly plans to convert 13 more of the original BBH era Firms to DVD. Is there any truth to this? Is there a set list of what else we can expect? The Classic Vol. 5, maybe? Please say this is one rumor that's true!

There are about 14, Anna Benson era The Firms that are not on dvd. In a few weeks, hope we can make an announcement of the next 3 re-leases. :cool:

Please please please say you'll be duping Core Cardio 1 and Core Cardio 2. They're my all-time faves and I still do them, since purchasing them when they first came out on VHS. Anna had promised me via email a little ways back that they'd be in the next batch to be converted. Sadly, Anna passed, and I figured that was the last of hoping for those DVD's. Please say you'll be doing them next!!!

Baker, I believe Form Pointers was re-leased by GT/Gaiam. Yes we are working hard to get these re-leased. We have mighty *** workout shoes to fill. And I am still amazed how Anna did it all!

I have StrongHeart and StrongBody on DVD with their names changed to FIRM Cardio and FIRM Strength. I much preferred the original names.
I would be willing to by chaptered versions of these.

I will sometimes still use my tapes because the DVDs don't have it and I really like to hear the motivational information while I put away my weights and get dressed.

CRM, I just trotted out the tapes of StrongBody and STrongHeart. I did StrongHeart today. Now, I know what to order on DVD! Thanks.

We are working on 20 Questions, but I might have one more copy of it on vhs though. I think Firm Direct has Firm Cardio/Firm Strength on dvd. Heidi's legs and Pam's arms get me fried everytime!

Y'all I would love to report that we have good news about new Firm re-leases but I don't. Everything is still tied up in legal.....:( but we can re-lease any of Anna's FitPrimes, so we are re-leasing 'Core First' with Carissa Foster.

I am so sorry to hear that you are having difficulty releasing Firm workouts on DVD. However, I recall sometime in March of 2009 Anna sent emails to some stating

“The next four FIRM titles to be released by Fitness Favorites will be:
1 Abs Buns and Thighs with Stacey Collins,
2 Sculpting with Weights with Tracie Long,
3 Cardio Burn with Tamela Hastie and
4 Fat Burning with Jen Carmen.

It would appear that these workouts were cleared for release on DVD and since only Sculpting with Weights was actually released, why can’t the other 3 be released?

Ciji....we have Basics Sculpting with Weights with Tracie re-leased on dvd.

We are still in a legal holding pattern as far as The Firms are related. When we get the go the ahead, to re-lease I will send our a blast for pre-orders. So save your pennies, nickels and dimes...and credit card is safe for now! LOL

The copy I purchased about 1 year and a half ago is a DVD-R.

I just checked on the Fitness Favorites Online Store and it does still say it is "Professional DVD-R"

Has this been re-released on a pressed DVD (silver on back) and the store just not updated to reflect it ?

Any hope for Core Cardio 1 yet? I can barely use my VHS tape at this point. I know there's been a legal problem trying to transfer this to DVD, but I wish you guys would hurry up before the tape disintegrates entirely and I can't use it anymore!

I will be glad when legal issues are over with! I sold the last Core Cardio today as well as the last Cardio Mix (not Step Mix). We do have some of the Firm workouts on vhs available, such as V5.

Still have one more VCR in the house that works and my mom does too.
I have been trying to limit my use of V5 to once a week. I also love the other two tapes in the "Basics" series. So happy that "Sculpting with Weights" was re done. I treasure the two "Core Cardio" tapes too. We'll get there, I know it!!
