Hi, I just found this site and had never heard of this video set before. I am just a beginning exerciser and wondered if this would be too much to start out with?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

I think FitPrime workouts would be very good for beginners.

Don't think you have to complete the entire workout at first.

Don't use weights until you learn the workout; then use light weights to start.

If you get too tired during the cardio sections, march in place at a comfortable pace.

Modify freely until you build your strength and endurance.

And one more thing: Post here at the WHFN forum if you have questions or comments! :D

You are soooooo welcome! :)

These videos ARE great! The instructors cue so beautifully and there are no tricky moves...very simple choreography, but very fun.

Besides, these are the PRETTIEST videos money can buy, and the music is just wonderful.

Can you tell I'm very happy with them??? HAHAHAHAHA!! :D

I'm not really a beginner but I did let myself get way out of shape during the last 5 years so I am sort of beginning again. I just got the FitPrime DVD's last week. I have done three of them (lower body burn, upper body burn and pump). They are great. I used 1 lb dumbbells for most of the weight training parts. I'm not good at the dancy parts of some videos but the the FitPrimes are not complicated and I can follow ok. The time went really fast on the three I have done so far. The Yoga and Pilates is really nice. I felt really good after my workouts. I was a little sore the next day in different areas with each video. I'm looking forward to doing the next three.

In my opinion, the fp workouts are perfect for beginners. You can use no weights, modify moves, & when you're ready, you can start using heavier weights & advancing the moves. There's no jumping up & down & spending half the time trying to see how far off the ground you can get. Instead, the intensity becomes more difficult the closer you are to the ground...makes you use your legs. And I have found that even with bad knees, I can do these moves. On one legged squats I can't go very deep but I still feel the work. The instructors lead so well & their reminders to form happen right at the time I'm "forgetting" to pay attention to mine.
