It's been three weeks since I put my lower back out. I feel much better but still have a few twinges. Would jumping on my mini trampoline be okay? Anyone done it?

I tried rebounding when my lower back was injured and I have to say that it really made it feel worse! I thought rebounding would be a gentle way to exercise, but it sure didn't agree with me.

Hope your back gets better soon. I hate when mine acts up.

Darn it! Because while you walk, you tend to jar your body because you are walking on a hard surface. I thought for sure jumping on a trampoline, which "gives," would be fine. Perhaps because you have to correct your body position more while jumping, that could stress the back?

I've been doing some upper body and also the floor work from Vol. 1. Last night I did a plank for 20 seconds and today feel fine.

I have a herniated disc in my lumbar spine...only 8 mm, which doesn't sound like much but it feels like a foot! When I first hurt my back, I thought jumping on the mini tramp would be ok but found out immediately how wrong I was. OUCH! It seems like it would be a good exercise to do but in my own experience, it's NOT! The ONLY thing that worked was to let it rest & heal as much as possible. It still hurts at times & I have to be very careful, but I can now do most exercises. Just always listen to what your body is telling you.;)

I would also like to add, if you decide to try it, please check with your doctor first. :)
