I'm wondering whatever happened to the partnership between Anna Benson and Tracie Long. I see Tracie has her own wesbsite with former FIRM instructors including Susan Harris and she sells "functional fitness" type DVDs. I just wondered whether anyone has tried them and how they compare to the FitPrime/whfn workouts and whether we might see Susan or Tracie or Jen Carmen leading workouts for whfn.

I doubt we'll see the instructors who are now working for Tracie working for WHFN, at this point. Tracie's gym is in Charleston; Fitprime is in Columbia.
Tracie's workouts (TLP Productions) are very good.... lots of functional fitness and core work integrated throughout AWT.
I feel funny posting about this here... Maybe you could ask Tracie at her site?

Hi, Bernie! I don't think we'll see a cross-over of instructors, now that Tracie has her own gym. I know she'd been wanting to open one for a while, and the opportunity arose for her. Since she lives in Charleston, along with Susan and Jac, it was easier on Susan and Jac to work for Tracie rather than traveling to St. Mathewes when FitPrime was there in St. Mathewes. I've heard good things about her DVDs. There are some reviews of them on the YaYa board, and probably on VF, too. HTH! :)

I don't have any of the new FitPrimes, so I can't give a comparison. However, Tracie's workouts are fabulous and I highly recommend them. I'm sure others who have both WHFN and TLP workouts will chime in with more detailed responses :)

Tracie's workouts are definately for advanced exercisers. They are hard core. Fitprime and Kickbutt are much more my style-easier on the joints and body, too.

Hi, I just want to say that until the Fitprime and Kickbutt workouts showed up at my door, I was using the TLP's regularly and am glad that I did. They prepared me for the core work that is done in these workouts. I believe that the TLP's, the Fitprimes and the Kickbutts can all compliment each other. Once I have done a rotation of each of the new workouts, I intend to put the TLP's in between them for an all over crosstraining effect. I think that both ladies have a lot of talent to share with us and the varied styles are awesome. It would be almost impossible not to get in to the best shape of our lives using a combination of these styles.

Thanks Carol. Coming from you that really convinces me that I am right about them.:D I read a lot of your posts and I am impressed with your knowledge and experience. I hope that many other people discover the benefits of having both types of workouts.

It's too bad that Tracie hasn't been able to find the backing to do her workouts justice. She needs someone like WHFN to come along and produce them. Hmmm. . . (Interesting line of thought, no?)

I have heard so many great things about Tracie's workouts. I am going to make them my next purchase!

Tracie left to open up her own gym in Charleston. She immediately put out 2 sets of workouts but has taken time to focus on her business. There are noises about new workouts on the horizon at her web site justv.net.
I love variety, & Tracie's workouts are her own style, different from others I've used. They are definately not for beginners though. Tough, but fun!
