...and the WHFN FitPrimes? Do the new FitPrimes and KickButts seem familiar or different? How would you describe the changes?

I have the originals and the new set of 12. I love the remakes. They are far superior to the originals. So far I have only done the remade Strong Bear and Steamin' Cardio. I thought I would miss the originals, but I didn't. There were minor changes, that I would consider improvements, in choreography. The cast, the set, and the fact that they are on DVD all strongly make these best when compared the originals in my opinion. I love that parts from the original 3 show up in some of them too. You did a great job on these. I don't have any regret in buying this set and the originals.

I have a question for TeamWHFN. Is the staff looking for feedback that will be used in their marketing or promotions of the workouts? Will folks comments be used on the website for example? Or a promotional email sent out to previous FitPrime customers containing testimonials/customer comments?
Thanks for any info you can provide,
Dawn P.

Speaking of background exercisers, I love that they're "real" women of all shapes and sizes, and that they look so HEALTHY!!
:)
This is wonderful having healthy role models to workout with!! In the BSS3, the instructors's looked way too thin..It was not motivating, it actually made me sad to see such an unrealistic body-type leading the workouts.

The production is a given....it is awesome. As far as the workouts go...I have only done two of the twelve workouts at this point....Lean and Pump. I love both of the workouts. I think they are more comparable to the original Firms than the original FitPrimes. The intensity of the original FP's is not there, but they leave me with a good worked-out feeling, as compared to an exhausted feeling. I have to heavy up on the weights, since there are fewer reps, which is fine with me.
How could they be improved???? Since they aren't as intense....Longer workouts! I'm not ready for them to end when they do! I just want to keep on going. They are so much fun! You have done an awesome job! I can see me doing these workouts for many years to come!

I agree w/Vanessa.
I generally like an hour's workout, unless the shorter ones are so intense that going longer isn't possible. :)
The production quality (which I didn't realize how much it mattered!) and colors are wonderful.
The music is great.
I love the cast/class feel.
(I'm so glad things like uneven reps were "fixed.")
I also like the DVDs, how they're chaptered and highlight the different categories.

I love that the new workouts do not have a stretch at the beginning. Particularly for cardio workouts, that is important for me. No point in getting my heartrate into the zone just to do a stretch and have to start all over again. It has been a real bonus for me to already know the workouts - it was like a dress rehersal. ;) The new ones feel a little less - experimental.

I also like that there is sort of transition sound from one tune to the next - sort of like the wave sound in the first 3 original FitPrimes.

After doing MetaBoost.....I feel that the FP's are workouts that truely work smarter not harder! I love the workouts!
Other things I like..... (having only done Metaboost, Lean , and Pump) It is easier to keep up with which side you've done first. Sometimes on the original FP's I would forget. I love the aerobics using the light weights, like the old Firms had. I love using the yoga block for the pushups....much easier on the ole shoulder than the step. The workouts seem to allow you to heavy up on your leg work, because you don't go right in to upper body without time to switch. What awesome workouts!

So far I have done Push Pull, Steamin Cardio, and Metaboost. In addition to what everyone else has said about the improved set and production, I feel like I am working with the "Classics" in a sense..the set feels familiar, as well as having a cast.
Improvements....well, I would love to see a workout similar to Vol 1, 2, or 3, in that floor work is included in the workout, instead of having a separate workout (Floor Burn). I always loved FTGU, and thought if it had floorwork in it, it would have been the perfect workout.
All in all, I am really loving these workouts, although I loved the original Fitprimes too.

I agree with everything said about production, music, cast, instructors. I would also like to repeat what was said about the intensity. I have only done the "Kickbutts" and these are NOT as intense as Firms I, II and III or the first three original Fitprimes. But I had a feeling that they wouldn't be by viewing the clips. Most of the time I enjoy Cathe intensity, but after a long Cathe rotation I feel tired and achey and that's when I welcome workouts like these or TLP's. They are perfect!
I too, wish that they were a wee bit longer and that some ball work would be added in (I know, I know....many do not like the ballwork). I didn't like the bouncing in the first 3 original FitPrimes, but I really enjoyed it in Fast Cheetah!

I loved the original FPs because they clocked in at about an hour, they were tough in a great way, and they had fantastic leads and music.
The new workouts are absolutely beautiful, have more functional fitness elements, and have great leads.
For me - I would have loved these new workouts to be 60-65 min long and more balanced between upper and lower body. And bring back the ball - that really adds to the functional feel (I agree though - no bouncing it!).

I found the original Fitprimes's to be intimidating. The new series seems much more welcoming.
I do disagree with the majority of people who don't like the short workouts. When you are producing 12 workouts, I don't think that every workout needs to be an hour or more. It is good to be able to mix it up. Personally, if I start a workout, I want to finish it and shorter workouts make that easier to do. Out of 12 workouts, 6 can be long workouts and 6 can be shorter workouts.
I believe Carol_is_fit said that she appreciated the fact that the background exercisers represented woman of all types and I could not agree more. I also think the background exercisers are part of the reason why I think the new tapes are much more inviting.
A note on production: One of the things I loved about the production of the BBH FIRM, was the way the instructor faced the background exercisers. I was glad to see that Anna brought that technique back with the new tapes.

Quoting Saundra here.....
I found the original Fitprimes's to be intimidating. The new series seems much more welcoming.
This is one of the major things I'm loving about the new workouts. The modifications to the innovative moves of the originals make these more accessible to everyone, but still challenging enough to keep more advanced exercisers on their toes. I also like the tips the instructors give to maximize specific moves. I'm feeling muscles in my back that I never knew I had!
