I am not-so-patiently waiting for my 6 pack FitPrimes to arrive. I know that a lot (all?) of the workouts use a yoga block, which is one of the few pieces of fitness equipment i don't seem to have :p ! I think i read somewhere that I could modify most of these with a medicine ball (I have a 3 lb one). Does that seem accurate????

I'm still waiting, too. Fun, isn't it? ;)
I think there are a lot of exercises where a med ball can be used instead of a yoga block. You can also use a book or a pillow as a substitution if the med ball doesn't work well for a particular exercise. And if you live near a Target, keep your eye on their sales, because they stock Gaiam yoga blocks and occasionally put them on sale.
I confess that I did cave and pick up the retail ones at Borders last week because I couldn't stand waiting any longer when people started posting about them, so I've had a foretaste of what's to come. Believe me, the wait is going to be worth it.
Here's to all 12 DVDs in your hands and mine very soon!

I was going to ask the same thing, Megananne! I hope it's ok to sub the medicine ball because that is what I plan on doing when I buy Upper Body Burn retail! :)

I only have done Metaboost & Flexposture so far (and that was earlier in the week and feels like a long time ago!!). Anyway, for Metaboost, I used a med ball, which seemed to work okay. But for Flexposture, I think a yoga block is really better - I tried both a pillow & book and neither seemed to work well for me (but that could be operator error, as well;) ). So of course, I am keeping my eye out for a cheap yoga block - maybe Walmart or Target again!:D
Good luck!

Just as an FYI...Gaiam still has oversized yoga blocks for $6.99 (includes 2 blocks).

I was going to use a medicine ball also, but when I saw yoga blocks at Walmart for $4.97 I couldn't resist! That is the cheapest piece of "equipment" I've ever purchased lol.

I did Pump yesterday and it uses two yoga blocks at the same time (for a very short time), one behind by your back and the other between your knees. I only have one, so I used my ball between my knees, which worked fine. That's the only time I think they use two at a time. I didn't have a block either until right before I recieved the videos. They are so inexpensive, and I think it's worth it to purchase. Sometimes when the yoga block is used, I will use a weight to bump up the workout a bit. Have fun!

How do you determine what size yoga block you need? Thanks.
