Have noticed in revisting my older Firm tapes that I'm often instructed to suppinate my wrists (so my palms are facing the ceiling) in doing triceps kickbacks; however, I have not seen it in any of the Fitprimes. Is this move now counterindicated for any reason, as I still do it whenever I'm holding the move.
Also, is there a reason that some ab work is done with ankle weights and some without? I use ankle weights for all and have gotten great results, but it occured to me that there may be a reason...
Thanks!

I just did Tamilee Webb's I Want Those Arms today and she definitely suppinates (? how do you spell that word? ) on the tricep kickback, plus several other workouts I have do it so I don't think the move has been contraindicated.

I think that move is also used in BSS2 Complete Aerobics and Weight Training with Emily Welsh, and that's pretty recent.

I've understood the twisting your wrists to the ceiling move during tricept kick backs as a slightly more advanced move then not twisting them back. I thought that both are effective and that one just gives you a little more resistance.

Thanks for your response and assistance! Funny, got WHFN's Lean after posting and they're suppinating again! Thanks again!
P.S. Anyone know about weighted ab work?
