Technical Difficulty - Unable to type the word ***

Can you tell me why when we type the word *** (b.i.g) it displays 3 astericks? Is there something wrong with that word we should know about?

Hi Saundra,

If I remember correctly, about a year ago we were really having trouble with spam. Anna and I would delete posts as quickly as possible, but in an effort to try to deter the spammers, some words were put on the censor list. I believe "b-i-g" is one of them.

Since that time, I think Anna has taken other steps to help eliminate the spam issue. It may be time for us to re-visit the list and allow words like b-i-g and b-u-t-t again.
