I'm trying to upload a picture but it's too big. Can someone tell me how to adjust the size? I just cannot figure this out. Thanks!

Hey Stacy, you can download a free photo sizing program to your computer to do it. Many programs will have a free 10 day trial, etc. :D Let me know if it works or not.

I resize photos in Microsoft Power Point and save the new size by right clicking on the mouse then selecting SAVE AS PICTURE. It usually takes me a few tries to get it small enough to use the photo as an avatar. HTH

Wheew... Boy this took me forever and a day to figure out:confused:

Stacy,
Try doing it through MGI PhotoSuite III SE
I think this downloads automatically when you download powerpoint? if not you can probably find it by doing a google search or something? then downloading it. ( I know it's FREE either way cuz I've never paid for it.)
AFTER YOU"VE DOWNLOADED IT.
1. Find a picture you want and save it to a file as (JPG or JPEG) (make sure to remember the name for later) then exit
2. Find MGI PhotoSuite III SE and click on it
3. When that opens you'll see pictures of cameras, art, calendars, etc... click on the one that has a scanner and camera then click on computer then find your file click on it then click OPEN.
4. you'll see the word adjust in the top left corner (Click it) then click RESIZE and change the numers in both width and height to make sure they are under 80 each...then click OK.
5. next you'll see the word file in the top left corner (Click it) then click SAVE AS... then name the file and make sure file type is JPG or JPEG again then click SAVE.
6. Last go to where you add your Avatar, click BROWSE, find your file click on it click OPEN, then Click SAVE CHANGES....give it some time to open and VUALA!!! (I got a warning that said it didn't get enough time to load OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT:confused: ) but it worked anyway so I would test it afterwards.

I hope this works for ya;)
