I have this workout on VHS and found out it is not in stereo and sounds like ****. I was wondering if anybody has this on DVD and if it is in stereo. I love the Firms music and this was very disappointing. I just didn't want to buy it on DVD and find out it was the same way. I know it's not my VCR because none of my other tapes sound this way. The box just says it's in color does not say it is stereo.
Thanks

Hi Suan,
I have this on DVD, and the case does state "in stereo." (I had it on vhs originally. I never had any trouble with it either way.)

Yeah, I have a crappy-sounding VHS copy of TBSM too. It was one of those re-releases from the very beginning of the Firm-GoodTimes days. I have a really awful-sounding Super Sculpting and Super Cardio to go with it. However, I found Lower Body Split on DVD at Borders a couple of weeks ago and it sounds great. It was one of the new GAIAM releases, though.
It's kind of hard to imagine a DVD not being in stereo in any instance, so if you go back and re-buy TBSM on DVD, the sound will almost certainly be better. If your VHS sounds anything like mine, it CAN'T be any worse. I'm planning to go ahead buy Super Cardio, Super Sculpting and TBSM on DVD as soon as I can.

I just received my DVD of Total Body Shaping Mix from Collage Video. I looked on the back it does say "stereo". I popped it into my dvd player immediately and it was definately a whole lot better. It's funny I just take it for granted that workout videos VHS or DVD would be in stereo. No where on my VHS copy does it say stereo. The quality of music makes a big difference to me whether or not I want to do the workout again.
