Hi all,
I did Strong Bear last night for the first time in awhile. I had forgotten how tough some of those moves are even without weights. One question I had was about the outer thigh work during the roundhouse kicks set with the tall step.
First question: When I'm doing the roundhouse kick, I notice my knees want very much to roll upward. Is the control for this move coming more from my outer thigh/glutes area or the obliques? Do you have any tips on form for this move?
Second question: After the roundhouse kicks, we move to the side for leg raises forward and back. I noticed by back starting to hurt during this move which prevented me from lifting as high as Keli did. Are your obliques engaged on this move too? Again, do you have any tips on form?
Thanks
