Hi! This is my first time posting a question, but one I've been wanting answered. I've owned the fitprime 6 dvd series for some time now and I enjoy them. I'm 47 years old and I've been teaching classes for 23 years, am very active and workout alot. I've been wondering about purchasing the kickbutt series and was wondering if there is alot of impact and alot of kickboxing in them. I prefer low impact now a days. I also have instable shoulder joints so quick movements like kickboxing don't work well for me. However, I have days that I'd like something more challenging than fitprime. Please let me know if these might be appropriate for me. I'm under the impression that kickbutt is made for the much younger crowd.
Thanks so much for your input,

Hi Patti!
I think these workouts would be great for you! There is not alot of kickboxing in them and they are definitely low impact. They aren't intense like, say, Cathe, but as with any workout, you can always make them harder by using heavier weights, eliminatng the dowel, etc. I love them!

I agree with Stacey.
Have you checked out the previews?

I say go for it! I'm 45 - love to workout, but have knees that remember the old days of high impact aerobics in the 80's. The Kickbutts feel "good" to my body. Intensity is measured differently in these workouts - they can be challenging, yet I never feel like I'm beating up on my body.

You will be happy you did--especially if you have enjoyed Fitprime. It just brings it up a notch. Enjoy!
