View Full Version : How do *you* use Cardio Split 1?

If you haven't done it in a while, the first half is lower body and the second half is upper body. In between there are abs and core work. The video alternates sets of weight work with aerobic segments. One thing I really like is that sets aren't repeated. You mostly do just one (killer) set of each exercise.
I couldn't stay in my aerobic zone consistently, so will prefer to use this split up. I was thinking that the first half would be good with UBB and the second half with LBB.
Any other ideas on how to use this gem?

I just do the whole tape as one workout.

I split it up, too. The parts are so short that it's easy to add onto another parts tape. Sometimes I use it with each half of NewFirm Body Sculpt and whatever the 40 minute split workout is from BSS2.

I do the whole workout as well. I consider it more of an upper and lower body strength workout with some ab work more than anything else. I don't think it has enough cardio in it to consider it an all around workout. Tracy

It depends. If I am trying to do alternating upper lower body days or am running short on time, I do one portion or the other.
Then there are days where I do the whole thing b/c I can't decide what to do and full cardio and full sculpting are just too much for whatever reason. I think it would be a great add on to another 30 minute tape of some sort.

I usually do the whole workout as well. You could always combine it with the firm's Super Body Sculpt, Body Sculpt, Upper Body Sculpt and Standing Legs. I know that you can combine it with some Cathe's.

I love splitting this tape and then doing 30 min. of yoga. The next day I'll do the next half followed by yoga. I wish they had made a CS2 as planned.....OH! I always go through the 1st section into the 2nd and do the abs and then stop. Got to do those abs....

I do it all as 1 tape. I do the same for Boot Camp 3 in 1 Mix.

Normally I do it as two separate workouts. I don't like the fast forward feature. If a video has its own warmup and cooldown, I consider it to be two separate workouts.
