Hi everybody,

First off, I love all 12 of the whfn workouts. However, with any workout, the more you do it, the more your body adjusts and gets used to the moves.

I was wondering what others do to bump up the intensity. I also do my Firm and Cathe tapes but I wanted to get opinions specifically focused on the whfn workouts.

Well, you could always increase your weights. For Pump, I eliminate using the stick for balancing and instead grab 2 heavy weights. Also, I wear my 1 lb rebounding gloves to help get my hr up more and it helps.

I agree with the weight modifications and doing them w/o the stick for balance.

I also turn all the cardio into high impact and/or add bigger arm movements to get my HR up more.

The other thing I found out - at least for me - is that when I took a break away from these and did something different for a few weeks, my heart rate was higher again when I came back to doing WHFN workouts. (I hope that makes sense.)

I'm still working on doing each WHFN as perfectly as I can. There is a lot of detailed instruction, and it's taking me a while to learn it all. :)

To bump up the intensity, I started doing the higher impact moves when appropriate.

Also, I have started using heavier weights, and I have added 30 minutes of cardio via Cardio Coach on my elliptical trainer when I feel like I have some extra energy left over.
