Hi everyone! I'm new in town ... I've been reading the forum threads -- thanks for so much help and good info!

I've been doing the WHFN series for about a month now. I put together a rotation that also includes Firm Crosstrainers Strength/Cardio and Maximum Body Shaping with most of the FitPrime and KickButt workouts (I save Flex Posture, Floor Burn, and Crunch Time for "extra" workouts when I feel like doing more than one a day -- which happens a lot!), and I love these workouts! I'm having trouble with the curtsy dips, though. I always feel like I'm twisting my front knee. Does anyone else have this problem and/or know what I'm doing wrong?

Also, I'm using a wooden step I bought at Target, but its surface is kind of small. Any ideas where I can get the original wooden 14" step?

Thank you all! :)

You may want to try the "STEP" square platform with risers to adjust the height of it.I love this because it's so stable and doesn't slip and slide on the floor like my wooden OR plastic FIRM steps will. Isn't it wonderful to have the FLEXPOSTURE AND FLOORBURN workouts to add on? I do that too when I feel like it.Feel so GREAT and rejuvenated afterward!!

Looks like no one ever answered your initial question about curtsy dips. Could it be that you're taking your back leg too far on the stationary leg side? Maybe it would help to do a smaller curtsy. If it still bothers you, you can always modify to a traditional dip (just go straight back, not off to the side).

Hi! I have felt twinges in my bad knee during curtsies, too. I watched the instructors carefully and noticed that the curtsy leg is actually directly behind the stationary leg's ankle. In other words, it is not a huge curtsy - more like a semi-curtsy. When I perform the move this way, it doesn't hurt and feels quite effective.
Gee, I hope my rambling makes sense.

Thank you for the curtsy dip tips. I'll try them! :)
