Hello!

I've recently ordered the KickButt serires, and am eagerly anticipating its arrival http://www.whfn.com/board/images/smilies/smile.gif I too, am a bit disenchanted with the Firm's new stuff, although I haven't tried the latest set.

I've previewed all the videos online, and I'm really impressed with both the KickButt and the FitPrime series. I love Heidi in Firm Cardio. I'm only 27, and in good health overall, although I have had some problem with impact and my feet. I'm wondering if I should also order the FitPrime set -- is there really that much difference in intensity? My fitness level is intermediate-advanced I'd say, although I'm a few pounds off my target. My heart is happy, and I'm strong, so I'm trying not to dwell on that last bit of 'padding' !! http://www.whfn.com/board/images/smilies/tongue.gif

If the FitPrime aren't as challenging cardiovascularly I don't mind too much. I can just hop on my roadbike for pure cardio burn. Also, if I get them now, as I hit my thirties I'll have them ready to go, I figure.

Any suggestions anyone?

Cheers!

I am 53 and enjoy both sets of workouts very much. They can be modified to be as difficult or easy as you want .The FITPRIME set seems to be lower impact but, again.that is easy to modify to suit yourself.Love the variety!!!

Thanks!

Yes, I think I will end up getting them...if they are so easy to modify I guess I can't go wrong. I just have to wait for the KB series to arrive so that I can completely confirm how great I think they will be -- then I'll place my next order! :) All 12 would be a bit too expensive for sight unseen, but I'm really just putting off the inevitable.

Still, I would love to hear from some other exercisers who are my age or younger, and what they think of the FitPrime series -- if you're out there I'd appreciate it!

I was unsure at first as to whether or not to order FitPrime or KickButt - the originals had not been rated very highly in Collage Video. When I saw the new combo DVDs (2 DVDs with 2 workouts each) and read the glowing reviews, I took a chance & ordered them.

I'm so happy I did - they are the best workouts ever! In fact, I was so impressed that I ended up ordering all 12 workouts and gave the ones I had ordered from Collage to a friend.

As others have stated, you can make these as tough or as easy as you want for your fitness or energy level. The fact that they included yoga & Pilates is really great (IMHO). I'm at that age when the muscles aren't as limber as they once were!!!

I feel you won't be sorry if you order all 12. Good luck & keep up the good work!:)
