Where can I get a balance stick?

Some people have made their own by using a 48" wooden dowel from the home improvement store or maybe even pvc. I think the diameter of the one I have is about 1 1/2 inches, but find one that is comfortable for your grip. You can also buy the rubber tips in the store. They may be located in the furniture or hardware area...?

I bought mine from COLLAGE VIDEO before I read about making one.
Last time I checked they still have em':)

I bought mine at a craft shop (AC Moore) for $2. I don't have rubber tips for it, but I'm just careful on my hardwood floors, or balance it on a towel just to keep it from scratching the floor. Since I don't lean very heavily on it, it doesn't skid out from under me.I strongly recommend going this route--at Collage and other places they are WAY more expensive!
